Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Office of the Faculty of Agriculture at Misurata University is creating an effective system for quality assurance and spreading awareness among the members of the Faculty of Agriculture including faculty members, assisting and administrative cadres, students, and all those concerned. The office is responsible for ensuring the principle of self-evaluation and the constant development based on the vision, mission, and goals of both the faculty and the office. Further, it links the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Office at Misurata University with the administration and departments of the Faculty of Agriculture.
To create an effective system for implementing quality and performance evaluation standards for quality assurance and the constant development of educational performance and the quality of the college outputs.
Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Office seeks to create a system for the constant development of the education process at the academic and administrative levels through self-evaluation and strengthening the role of the Faculty of Agriculture in the university and community.
1. Spreading awareness of the importance of applying standards of quality, accreditation and continuous development among all of the college departments, faculty members, staff members, and students.
2. Working on developing the faculty through the implementation of quality standards according to standards of the National Center of Quality Assurance.
3. Assisting faculty departments in implementing quality systems, evaluating their performance, developing fields of education and research, and serving the community.
4. Assisting students to achieve effective learning, organizing student activities and encouraging students to develop their personal and professional skills.
5. Linking Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Office with the counterpart offices in the other colleges at the university to exchange experiences in quality assurance.
6. Implementing and following-up the internal audit systems of the departments and their scientific and administrative programs at the college.
7. Collecting and analyzing results of self-evaluation, highlighting the positive and negative sides, and suggesting solutions as a main step in external audit to obtain accreditation.
8. Effective participation in international conferences and local and regional workshops.
9. Following-up the implementation of quality assurance laws and decisions in educational institutions.
